The ISP awards took place two weeks ago and last year's ‘Gimme Credit’ campaign won silver in the non-alcoholic beverages category.

The campaign ran across 32.5 million Sprite, Fanta and Dr Pepper products throughout the summer. Every can or bottle offered 50p of credit straight to the consumer’s mobile phone by simply texting in a unique code found on pack. The promotion is so brilliant that it’s also shortlisted in the NMA awards for Best Use of Mobile too. These are due to take place on 24 June.

Coca Cola ‘Gimme Credit’ re-launch 2010

Last year’s promotion was so successful that Coca Cola has launched it again. Running across the same brands, but across over 47 million packs this year, consumers can text in and get 50p credited directly to their handset. Sponge worked with Open Market, BD Network, Flourish & Monitor Media to launch the whole campaign, which breaks in July.
