On Saturday 6th December 2008, Oxford Street and Regent Street were temporarily pedestrianised.

Working with independent agency Inferno, Visa appointed Sponge to help make the occasion even more special for shoppers.

Everyone who made a purchase using their Visa Credit or Debit card was invited to enter the competition. Simply by texting in the name of the store followed by the amount spent, every shopper won a minimum cash prize of £1 – and some lucky people won a grand to ensure Xmas would go with a swing !

With a flexible solution designed to include all participating stores (even those who only registered on the day of the competition), Sponge was integral to the success of the promotion.

Let’s leave it to Harriet Hoult at Inferno, who was kind enough to say: “Sponge were a joy to work with. They were friendly, helpful and efficient and offered expert advice and a very professional service which ensured that the campaign ran smoothly and was delivered on time. I would certainly recommend their services to others.”
