Starting tonight at Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light, The Circus Live tour is a 20 date sell-out across the UK and Ireland.
The tour is sponsored by Play.com, who wanted to find engaging, measurable ways of leveraging their involvement. That’s where we came in.
Working with The Edge Global Events, Sponge has designed and implemented two in-stadia activation programmes.
Promoted on everything from jumbotrons to staff t-shirts, fans can text in to receive unique codes redeemable on Play.com. One set of codes entitles them to download ‘Said It All’, the boys’ new single. The other gives them a voucher to spend on the site - plus the chance to win a range of the latest ‘must have’ gadgets, from iPod Nano’s to PS3’s.
It’s obviously early days, but this is one programme we’re confident will – er – ‘shine’.
