// Sponge makes its debut in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50

Mobile marketing specialist Sponge has been included in this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50. Entering at number 29, it’s Sponge’s debut ranking in the league table which also recognises the company as the UK’s fastest growing mobile marketing agency.

The Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, now in its eleventh year, is an award programme which ranks the country’s fastest growing technology companies based on percentage growth in revenue over a five-year period. Sponge recorded growth of 854%.

Appearing in the league table provides automatic entry into the EMEA Fast 500, which ranks the fastest-growing technology companies from regions around the world.

“Appearing in the Deloitte UK Fast 50 is a terrific achievement for Sponge,” said Alex Meisl, Chairman and co-founder of Sponge. “It’s a reflection of the hard work we’ve put in to build the company since it was founded in 2001 by myself and CEO Dan Parker. It also demonstrates that brands and corporates have started to recognise the importance of mobile as valuable tool in their marketing and communications armoury.”

Sponge supplies creative ideas and mobile technology to leading brands and publishers including Auto Trader, Barclays, Coca-Cola, News International and Northern & Shell.

The UK Fast 50 and EMEA Fast 500 Awards Ceremony will be held on 25 November in London.
